OMGoodness - Jules Thin Crust Pizza - Restaurant Review

Jules Thin Crust pizza in Danville (located in the Livery) is our favorite gluten free pizza place. I love everything about this pizzeria experience. It has a clean modern decor with a nice dining area. They use green products to clean the tables and have recycle and compost waste options. The staff is always friendly and Heather, the owner, treats you like a good friend when you arrive....

Their pizza topping options are some of the most unique I've ever seen. My favorite is Meat Pie #4, "Kim's pie," with Hormone-free roasted chicken, portobello mushroom, caramelized onion, mozzarella (ask for vegan cheese - they use Daiya brand), balsamic BBQ sauce and chives. Sammy even loves this pizza minus the onions and mushrooms. In addition to the regular menu, they offer seasonal pizza varieties.

They have good salads as well. My favorite is the Goat Cheese Fiesta. Luckily, I am able to tolerate goat's milk. The milk protein in goat's milk is most like human milk protein so very often, people who cannot tolerate cow's milk can tolerate goat's. Keep in mind though that every body is unique. The salad is comprised of greens with walnuts, veggies, goat cheese and balsamic dressing. All their salad dressings and barbecue sauces are gluten free and they use organic ingredients.

They also serve gluten free beer and desserts. They have Mariposa brownies and coconut bars and Miglet's Bakery cupcakes for sale. They usually have a vegan (egg and dairy free) Miglet's cupcake in the freezer if they don't have one on the display.
